This place was great! We were 2 adults traveling with 2 teenagers. The condo was spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped. The condo had a nice pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and shuffle board. I wish we would have known that you could fish from the docks/set crab traps without a license since it is private property. Will definitely bring our gear next year. The condo was quiet, even though it was full of baseball players. We rarely heard the neighbors. The area is great... be sure to go by the zoo, and play with the Lemurs. Was a highlight of our trip. The restaurants were packed... Go by Gulf Shores Seafood, and cook your own. The only complaints we had were regarding the master bed and couch. The master bed was horrible. The mattress is very old and broken down. The springs are horrible, no recoil left in them. Neither of us slept well the whole trip. The couch in the living room desperately needs replaced as well. It is a hide a bed, and on one side the frame is broken, and almost touches the floor. It creaks and groans when anyone sits on it, and was very uncomfortable. I was glad no one had to sleep on it, because I am not sure that it would have opened/closed correctly. These items were reported to management, and they were going to send someone to investigate after our stay, so hopefully it will be fixed soon. If these items are fixed, I would love to stay here again. The location is wonderful. The views were amazing. We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the birds. Pelicans and cranes were always close by. The beach was easily accessible. We never had any issues with parking.

I travelled to Gulf Shores for a solo week at the beach and this place was a perfect spot to crash at the end of the day. The kitchen was stocked with any cooking utensil you'd need, the washer/dryer worked well, the furniture was comfortable, and I had a really pretty view of the sunset over the waterway. Next time I come back to Gulf Shores, I'll definitely stay here because it's super convenient and cozy. WiFi could have been better, but it's still worthy of five stars.

I enjoy this resort. I have stayed there 4 or 5 times. It is on a quiet end of the beach, the pool and tennis court area is very nice and the walk to the beach is short. The buildings are a little old but this unit was up-to-date. The furnishings were simple but adequate. The kitchen was very well stocked. It was nice to have 2 full baths. There was no blow dryer, which surprised us-luckily, who cares what your hair looks like on the beach! The biggest problem with the unit was a very strong mold odor. It was cool when we arrived but we had to open all the windows and doors to air out the place in order to be able to stand being there. We got a call the next day to ask how everything was and I reported this problem. They said they would send someone to check on it but they never did. Fortunantly, after 24 hours the odor abated and was almost undetectable by the time we left. I will definately stay at Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club in the future but not sure I will stay in 403C.

We highly enjoyed our stay and had no issues. Condo was very clean. So clean that my daughter walked straight into the sliding door bc she thought it was open. The kitchen was fully equipped with what we needed to prepare meals. The condo is decorated nicely. We felt at home! Will definetly stay again!

Enjoyed our stay. Condo was clean and it was a quick walk to beach. Did not like the fact that there was not a door on the bathroom connected to the bedroom. Was very inconvenient\awkward when someone had to get up and go to bathroom in middle of night. When we first entered condo the curtains were hanging off the pole in one bedroom but it was easily fixed.

The cleaning crew was not thorough at all! It appeared as if they sprayed cleaning products on places & forgot to actually clean. For example, the refrigerator and both bathtubs had circular spray marks that had not be wiped. Dried up product just remained. Utensils in the drawers were dirty too! Also, both twin beds were full of sand under the top cover. I'm not even sure the sheets had been changed or cleaned as all beds had hair in them. Needless to say I spent the first few hours cleaning. There are a few breakable accessories in the living room that we had put up from our toddler, the balcony door doesn't lock and the master bathroom has no door for privacy. My family liked the condo in general, just not this particular unit. The view was awesome, the beach was easily accessible & the pool was amazing!

Thank you for your recent stay! Saddened to hear of the housekeeping issues you encountered and surprised that nothing was reported to us for your stay. We certainly could have sent them back to address all of those complaints. Laundering sheets in the units is no longer permitted so the linens come from a laundry service. Our maintenance department can evaluate that balcony door lock, however some of those issues fall to the association and we are not permitted to make a permanent repair. Thankfully your family enjoyed the complex and the amenities. We appreciate your feedback!

I'm very unhappy with the condo we rented between April 2-8, 2016. The unit showed little attention to detail and maintenance has been allowed to slide over time. The following is a list of things wrong with our condo (403C). Yes, some items are small, but all of them add up to make the place feel less than homey, clean, and welcoming. It is certainly NOT as nice as we expected for the amount of money we spent. I've stayed in nicer 2 star hotels than this condo. - kitchen closet slider doors off track - toaster handle missing - crumbs under glass in living room coffee table - living room pillows have stains and spots on them - slider door to balcony is not smooth and hard to close - screen on slider to balcony is off track and does not work - various spots and splattering a evident on the walls of the main living space, and elsewhere in the condo. - paint in the master bathroom shower is pealing above the shower. - master bath shower head sprays in wide pattern because of partially plugged holes from deposits. - master bedroom sheets had over 5 obvious hairs on them near the top of the bed when we pulled them down to go to sleep, so we don't think they were washed or changed. - toilet in bathroom rocks and needs to be tightened to the floor.

Thank you for your recent stay! I certainly appreciate your attention to detail as to where the unit is concerned. I will agree some of the items are small but ever so apparent, and most certainly need attention. The majority of the issues could have been addressed had we only known of your discomforts while vacationing. I’m not sure what is more unfortunate the fact that 5 hairs were discovered or the fact that it was not reported. We strive to meet all of our guest needs and expectations however it is very difficult when you are not presented the chance. Each of these grievances will be evaluated and attended too to the best of our ability. We appreciate your feedback!

Unit was clean. Recent update throughout. Kitchen was well equipped with cooking essentials. Refrigerator malfunctioned during our stay but was quickly repaired after notification. The freezer does not have an ice maker which is a negative. No one wants to spend time emptying and filling ice trays while on vacation. Shower heads in both baths need to be replaced. Water pressure is great.

Thank you for your recent stay! So nice to hear you found the unit clean and you notice the kitchen was properly stocked. Glad to know our staff assisted you quickly with the appliance repair. Sorry for the inconvenience of not having an ice-maker. While I will admit filling ice trays can be a bit of a negative, purchasing bagged ice is always an option. I will have the shower-heads evaluated by our maintenance staff, for possible replacement if needed. We appreciate your feedback and value your input.

The condo was all that we expected and more. It was well stocked with cookware, utensils, and everything needed to prepare a great meal. It was clean and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the view from the balcony overlooking the lagoon, eventho it was cold we enjoyed sitting out in the sun. My husband, brother, sister and I took advantage of the fishing pier although we didn't catch any fish due to the high wind and cold. There was a minor maintenance problem which was quickly resolved by courteous and friendly staff. We look forward to returning to this condo soon!

Overall this was an ok condo. It was clean and very bright. The bathroom in the queen bedroom had no door. That made it very hard to use the bathroom and for people to take showers considering we had males and females staying together. The wyfi only picked up on the balcony. The management also likes to tape signs on your front door and car. We were not aware that you had to pay 20 dollars for a parking permit. The listers of this condo failed to mention that. We found a piece of paper TAPED to our van saying that we needed a parking permit. And then we found another letter taped to the front door saying we were not allowed to let our towels air dry on the balcony. I can understand not being able to hang towels from the railing but we couldn't even put them on the backs of chairs. At the end if the letter it said to feel free to use your dryer provide in your unit...If the dryer actually dried clothes we would not of hung them outside. The swimming pool was probably one of the nicest I've seen at a condo that we've rented. Another major problem was the smell of the garbage. The garbage smell was the main reason why I gave the cleanliness a 2. There is a garbage chute two doors down from our room. By the 2nd day the reek of garbage had consumed our room. I can only imagine how bad the 2nd floor rooms smelt. Finally the garbage was emptied and the smell went away. But the smell slowly started to come back by the 5th day..

Sorry to hear the unit was just okay considering you reserved online without speaking to someone from the company that represents the unit. In some of the older complexes routers are spaced throughout the buildings for the internet connections and it can be difficult for connecting. In the description of this unit it clearly states parking is purchased onsite of the complex as well as how many vehicles you are allowed and the price. I don’t know of a complex that will allow you to hang your clothes outside; however it was never reported that the dryer was not working for your stay. In the high season I’m sure the odor can be quiet dreadful due to the garbage. But without the garbage chutes you would be forced to take it to a dumpster which could possibly be worse. Again that is a decision of the complex and not the individual Owner. It is an excellent complex with excellent amenities, so glad the pool was pleasing!
