We absolutely loved the Murphy on St Philips A home. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. We stayed for a week with 2 teenage daughters and were quite comfortable.

We had a great experience at the bnb! The interior is adorable, clean, and the welcome note with snacks and activity ideas was a great touch. The host responded to questions quickly and even accommodated a last minute early checkin request for baggage drop. There is some construction next door to this building going on at the time of this review, but they moved quickly even during a holiday weekend. Not sure how long it will last. I would happily rent this bnb again on my next trip to Charleston!

This location was 2-3 blocks from the adventure of King Street. Getting to the sights of Charleston was a breeze by uber/lyft and could be walked. We rented a car and were easily able to access Folly Island, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms etc from this location. The house had a/c which was great to regroup after a day in the hot sun. The beds were comfortable and the welcome basket was a very nice touch. I would recommend staying here as opposed to "off" as the locals would call it, due to the convent access to the attractions in Charleston. There is construction next door, which doesn't make for a great view from the porch, but that shouldn't last forever.

I lovely 1850’s home, small but comfortable and decorated beautifully. You can feel the history when u walk in door. The sounds machines in the bedrooms were a pleasant surprise; it is a city. Thanks for a wonderful stay, I would definitely come back!

This is a fantastic place to stay in Charleston with everything you could want. The house is seriously well equipped, with some thoughtful touches too. The location is not central, but you are within walking distance of bars and restaurants. You can walk to central Charleston or there is a free bus service. The house is stylish throughout and it was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

This place is incredible! It's the perfect location to downtown Charleston and just a few minutes walk to amazing restaurants, shopping, and historical sightseeing. Plus it's only a 20 min drive from Folly Beach. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are super comfortable. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the double porches each morning. The host was very responsive and provided all the information we needed. I would definitely rent this place again on a future trip to Charleston.

Nice place to stay. Very clean with all amenities including washer/dryer. It’s not near the tourist areas but only a few blocks walk will take you to a bus stop where free bus service (line 211) will take you to all the places you may want to visit in the city.

Excellent location, less than 10 min to bars on King Street. A little construction directly in front of the property on the first day that was pretty noisy but they finished up so we could enjoy the porch.

Thanks Meg, we didn't get any notice about that quick demolition work but at least that old building is gone! Can't stop progress!

We stayed here for the High Water Music Festival. This 2BR, 1 Bath home off of King Street has an excellent location with parking, even though the next-door lot is cleared for renovation (offering great morning sun on the upstairs porch!). They gave great local suggestions and were easy to communicate with about our booking. The clean space's amenities really stood out with the hot and cool water cooler and abundance of towels. This was a true home for our weekend getaway.
