- Cleaning and enhanced disinfecting with products that meet CDC guidelines for the control of bacteria and viruses, including the corona virus
- Sanitizing all hard surfaces including but not limited to: counters, knobs, handles, switches, bath fixtures, remote controls and floors
- Sanitizing all soft surfaces with an industrial fogging process and/or CDC approved process for sanitizing overnight dwellings
- Laundering all linens at the highest possible temperature with a detergent containing bleach

Please note: Since SW Florida is a sub-tropical climate, it almost never gets close to freezing, which leads it to being desirable for humans, geckos, and insects. Despite routine pest control, it is possible for an insect or gecko to get inside the property. Refunds for finding geckos or insects are not given.

Natalie, thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review of your stay! We are happy that you and your group had a good trip and that you enjoyed so many of the wonderful things this home has to offer! To address some of your concerns - the actual cleaning fee that our cleaners charge for this property is $205. Unfortunately, Airbnb does not permit us to list that number individually. They bundle it with booking fees, our damage waiver, the Covid 19 disinfecting fogging, making the actual cleaning fee to appear huge. We hate it, but they refuse to unbundle it. Regarding the table, there is no excuse for that and it should have been cleaned. Had we known while you were there, we would have immediately sent our cleaning team out to make it right. We have since reached out to the cleaners and reiterated that this is far below our standards. As to the additional fees to clean the grill and take out the trash -unfortunately our years in business have taught us that sadly, many guests refuse to exercise courtesy toward the owner's home and incoming guest. We wish we could just ask for those thing to be done and guests would do it, but many times they don't. If the grill is cleaned and trash put out, all is good. I'm sorry if the request offended you, but we have an obligation to our property owners to keep their homes in pristine condition, as well as we then have to pay maintenance to take care of those things before the next guest. This is not a revenue stream but rather a pass through expense. I hope these explanations help. We thank you for staying in our property and treating it well!
