My family recently had the opportunity to stay at the "Doc House" on Bald Head Island. It was a wonderful experience for everyone. The view from the living room/ kitchen were breathtaking. Even though we had rain a few days, watching the ships and barges go up and down the waterway was a treat to behold. We also were fortunate to spot some dolphins feeding very close to shore!

The layout was great to entertain, relax and paint or read and to enjoy the gorgeous beach. It’s nice that each room has its own bathroom and television. It’s really well kept and would definitely return. Just a short walk to the beach and pool and the property of wild dunes was also well kept and secure.

Nice place, perfect location

4 couples traveling together to Austin. This was the perfect spot. Tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable home(s) in a great location. Walking distance to 'SoCo' where we found plenty to keep us occupied. Enjoyed the common areas during the day and it was nice for each couple to have a place to retreat to at night. Really enjoyed the master bedroom - very upscale.

The apartment is right on the beach, above the tiki bar and pool, but the heavy duty sliders keep the bar noise out when you want quiet. Plenty of free parking. The unit could use some updating, but was clean and perfect for 2 people. Close to everything you want to do. Our 2nd stay at Island Inn.

Great condo, worked well for our family. Bunk beds for the kids, two master's, plus a double queen room... The deck was large with great views, allowing us to entertain guests once the sun went over the mountains...Everything one would need for any trip to Beaver Creek.
