We had a great time at the Conundrum Log home in Aspen. It is very private and secluded up Castle Creek Rd off the circle coming into Aspen. The house, turrets and the A-Frame were all very clean and unique. We had a problem with the hot water heater in the two turret rooms but Kim Estock was very attentive to the problem and they did the best they could to get it fixed even though New Years Eve and New Years Day were mixed into the equation. Everyone in our party would love to come up and rent this place again in the summer.

If you crave rustic chic near Aspen this is it. So interesting and unique. Our 3 families with older kids loved this setting after a day of skiing at Snowmass. We made some fabulous meals, played games by the big fireplace and enjoyed the large hot tub. Due to the very step stairs not for elderly or very young.

Jennifer, Thank you for taking time to write this nice message. We are delighted you and your families enjoyed the charm of "The Fort". It sounds as if you all had a wonderful winter getaway during your stay. We do mention the steep stairs in our description a few times as they are steep and definitely not for the elderly or very young. Kim and Kim

We’ve stayed here 3 times now and absolutely love everything about this place. The location, the well kept place, the scenery and the peace you get after a long day out on the town! The recently added hot tub was a plus! Great place to unwind and relax before heading in next to a warm fire. Family friendly, plenty of space for a small or large group. We are looking forward to our next trip back!

Our family group loved our stay in the Conundrum Western Home - aka Fort Conundrum. We especially loved card games on the covered deck, the ample kitchen/dining area, evening fires in the living room and play time in the courtyard. The accommodations are clean and cozy. We were a group of 4 couples and 3 children and we fit comfortably in the 3 turret bedrooms and the guest house. It is fair to note that we used the living room of the guest house to sleep the two youngest in our group ( 3 1/2 and 6 yrs.) because the staircases to the bedrooms are quite steep. We had a wonderful time and would love to return to this one-of-a-kind place!

Hi Susan, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at this wonderful and unique property and look forward to welcoming you back in the future! I heard that the children had a great time helping to feed the fish in the trout pond. Although the property is so much fun for children, the stairs are quite steep. We encourage guests to take that in to consideration when booking the property. Thanks for choosing to stay with us! Kim Estock. iTrip Vacations

Our stay was beyond perfect at this location. The owner/management allowed us to host our very small, summer wedding reception for a few hours, and it was prettier than any venue I've ever seen. The guests that attended and friends that stayed with us were floored by uniqueness of The Fort, the beauty of pond and everything about this location. The property management company was incredibly helpful before, during and after our stay. We will 100% be returning, hopefully in the very near future.

We had a wonderful 10 days at this fabulous 'fort', our friends enjoyed sleeping in the turrets and sitting out on the deck in the evenings or around the fire pit made for great memories. The house has everything you need, and when we were missing a hairdryer in the main house Kim brought one up right away. The house is spotlessly clean, the hot tub is the nicest one I've been in. There ARE a lot of steps everywhere, so know that. It also makes this place very unique. It's like staying in a high class well appointed movie set. We had a little red fox we named 'little alex' come and visit every day and sit in our yard. I would highly recommend

This place was AMAZING! A perfect get away tucked away on the mountain but still plenty close enough to town to have the best of both worlds. Super unique property with the perfect cabin in the woods feel. Rustic vibe but had every modern amenity that we needed. Love it and cant wait to come see it in the summertime!
